Feel the breeze while you watch the sun rise over the lake along the shores of Lake St. Clair.
Grosse Pointe is known throughout North America for its stunning neighborhoods and fashionable shops. The area still maintains the charm of a wonderful residential area with the amenities of fine living.
To help affluent home shoppers with their search, the Robb Report posed questions and more to luxury home Realtors from across the county. Their answers and the research of the Robb Report team were used to compile the third annual top affluent communities in America list. Cities were then judged based on 10 criteria, location, beauty, prestige, educational facilities, family-friendliness, cultural attractions, recreation, shopping, municipal services, safety and general well-being. The Grosse Pointes of Michigan came in at #7. With it's close proximity to Downtown Detroit,it's an easy commute to and from work.
